Seed and grain filled pillows have been used for centuries in Europe to soothe muscle and stomach aches. With our unique Hot & Cold Pack we are offering a velvet soft rice heating pad. Our Hot & Cold Pack heating pads provide a gentle and moist heat, when heated in the microwave. Once removed from the microwave you will notice the moist heat, enabled by humidity released from the naturally retained moisture of the rice filling after heating. Your Hot & Cold Pack heating pad can be reused again and again. Heated or cooled these unique pillows will bring you and your loved ones relaxation and comfort for years.
Heating in a Microwave Oven: Ensure that the microwave is clean and free of oil or food residue. Distribute content evenly within the pillow. Arrange the pillow in the middle of the turning table, ensuring that it does not touch the sides of the microwave, gets pinched in the door, or otherwise interferes with the microwave’s proper operation. Heat the pillow for 90 seconds. Take it out, shake the content and check the temperature. Distribute filling evenly within the pillow and repeat for 30 seconds. Never heat the pillow more than 2 minutes total heating time. Always check the temperature of the pillow prior to using it. Overheating the pillow might cause burns on skin and product.
Cooling in a Freezer: Place the heating pad in the freezer in a plastic bag for 15-20 minutes or until the desired temperature is reached.
Care Instructions: Do not get your Hot & Cold Pack pillow wet. This is a natural product and any excessive moisture might cause the filling to clump together or attract mildew. Clean the pillow only with a damp cloth or disinfectant wipe.
